\nAs the word implies it is Artificial intelligence and not natural. The machine needs to be trained or prepared to perform repetitive tasks. The BPO companies will have a big role to play in training the systems by feeding data on the process, defining rules, writing algorithms and conditions.<\/p>\n

Let us see some examples. Accounts department deals with invoices. Some are payable and some are receivable. The machine should be trained to read invoice numbers, amount payable or receivable, currency details, Tax deductions, verifying debtor\/creditor details, due dates etc from the invoices.<\/p>\n

Once the system is trained to read the invoices then AI will take over to perform the repetitive jobs at a greater pace and with high accuracy. There will be instances where human intervention is still required for cases which the system cannot execute because of complexities and unique scenarios.<\/p>\n
